I found this in "Commercial Illustration" (Rotovision... possibly the best publisher EVER)... also it's not actually a map as such, i think that that the use of varying scales works well in drawing attention to certain aspects of it more than others.. you get a feeling that some areas are more important than others... also, the categorisation of the work is incredible.. the design incorporates several charts and diagrams in quite a subtle way, and still has the ability to work well as a piece as a whole. I love the bold use of block colour and think the clarity of it is amazing
