This ais a Sagmeister Inc design for a company called Zumtobel who make lighting systems apparently... I found this image in a book called "Look at This" by Adrian Shaughnessy. The content of the book actually seems quite repetitive with regard to images... its the same shot of a plastic relief of a vase of flowers but with a variety of lighting effects applied to the surface. The relief forms the cover of the book However, I found the binding of the book quite interesting. I like how it's left exposed.... I think the delicacy of the binding is a good contrast to the quite bold and simplistic plastic formed cover.
