I think that Marian Banjtes has created a delicate feminine appeal with this particular typeface. The pink flowers are modern in the way they are presented, photographed rather than painted etc, and convey a modern attitude... it is also possibly coincidentally, a Queen song... (college work that involves Queen songs...awesome!) Bantjes' work is admired by Stephan Sagmeister. I really like how a traditional, chintzy idea conveys a modern, feminist issue... I think it says a lot about womans' ever-changing role in society... also, it's pretty... and cute
