svirplele on flikr

I absolutely love these illustrations... I found them on flikr but can't find out any more information about the artist as their profile info is all in a foreign language... maybe... russian or something??? I don't know... anyway I love these character illustrations... They look a bit like the illustrations from "where the Wild Things are" and also like some of the creatures in The Beatles' Yellow Submarine film. I like them very much :D
